Game preparation:
- All cards in a set are dealt evenly to the players. (2 card sets from 7 players)
Simple instructions for the game:
- The player who starts lays any card or several cards of the same value (e.g. two 7s or a 10) on the table.
(Preferably as low as possible, as it is harder to get rid of them). - The next player must play the same number of cards with a higher value (e.g. two 9s or a jack). If he cannot or does not want to, he must pass and take a drink.
(2 higher cards must always be placed on 2 cards, then 3 higher cards on 3, etc.) - This continues until all players have passed. The last player to lay a card begins the next round.
- The aim: Be the first to get rid of all your cards! The first will be the King.
- The last one who still has tickets is the Asshole and must drink 3.
Rules for the next round
- The king gives the asshole a card that he chooses (usually the worst).
- The asshole has to give the king his best card.
Additional rules and variants:
- Jokers can also be used, which are the highest cards and can beat any other card.
- In some variants, there are additional ranks such as the runner-up (second place) and the runner-up asshole (penultimate place).
- The number of cards exchanged between king and asshole can vary (e.g. 2 or 3 cards).
- Special rules can also be introduced, e.g. that certain card combinations (e.g. four identical cards) have a higher value.
